Orthopedic surgeons invariably recommend surgery even when alternative therapies could be sufficient. Likewise, you would think that car mechanics who specialize in transmissions would gravitate toward replacing your transmission especially when the car dealerโs garage recommended replacement. In my case, I came here for a second opinion after the dealer told me that I needed a new torque converter but they would have to replace the transmission as well just to access the torque converter. Iโm glad to report that this shop โcuredโ my carโs โtransmission shudderโ without replacing either partโฆ. no surgery was needed!

Changed a transmission in like a 3hr turn around. Happy with the results. They did a little extra by tightening down my shifter. I appreciate things like that and its absolutely a reason I would return if I had any other issues. It shows good faith, kindness, and that they do go the extra mile. Just leaving this here, March, 2026.

I had an excellent experience with this shop. I brought in a JDM car that was just imported, which has a 9-digit VIN, and they handled the state inspection with no issues. They were knowledgeable, professional, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. The process was smooth, everything was explained clearly, and they did an amazing job on my car. Itโs not easy finding a shop that understands imported vehicles, but this one absolutely does. Highly recommend!

What do you look for in a quality service station? Integrity, professional attention...and perhaps a friendly attitude as well. You'll find all that in abundance at Emory. This was just an oil change and an inspection, but they took the time to make a thorough evaluation, talked me through the status of the car (basically all fine) and gave me the confidence I had pick the right service station. Thanks.

We were lucky to be only 6 miles away from Emory Transmission when our van suddenly stopped on the freeway during 103 temps. These people are pros! They don't need any props on social media. The local traffic into their shop says it all. Trust Emory to do the job right at a fair price.
